The first company in DIALOGUE Group was set up in March 1989 by 30 foremost Bulgarian translators and interpreters, as Bulgaria's first fully incorporated private translation agency. Nowadays DIALOGUE’s associates have reached several hundred interpreters and translators from/into all European and most of the Eastern languages, specialising in almost all areas of knowledge.

Thanks to its flexible organisation, in line with modern trends of the global economy, DIALOGUE is able always to offer to its clients suitable translators and interpreters for highly specialised assignments. Moreover, this organisation enables us to operate at minimum administrative costs, further enables us to select and of course remunerate the best translators and interpreters, and to offer acceptable and competitive rates to our clients.

The DIALOGUE brand has been and remains a synonym of QUALITY. Hence we have become the second Bulgarian translation agency certified by the Austrian Standards Institute with an internationally valid certificate for the conformity of its translation services with European standard EN 15038. The selection of translators, preparation of target texts and quality control comply with the requirements of this standard. Translations are subject to (sometimes more than one) revision and mandatory output control by an in-house representative of DIALOGUE. Interpretation, as well as all other services provided by DIALOGUE, is subject to strict routine control during implementation. That is why our clients have duly praised the excellent quality offered by DIALOGUE.

Furthermore, DIALOGUE works in cooperation with foreign translation agencies under partnership contracts: ETC Brussels NV – Belgium, Polyglotte – France, Poliglota – Spain, Traducta – Portugal, Katsarakis – Greece, Serge Claus – Austria.

The EU institutions have also recognized the outstanding quality provided by DIALOGUE. Over the past years, DIALOGUE has ranked among the winners of several translation service tenders called by the European Union’s institutions: the EASA/AESA tender of the European Parliament – EU documents in the field of aviation; the AO/05 tender of the European Commission – translation of a wide range of documents of the EU’s institutions; the 264/04 tender of the European Council – translation of regulations and other EU official documents, the FL/ENV08 tender – EU documents in the field of the environment. Apart from the work under these contracts, EU institutions award us a large number of one-off assignments.

DIALOGUE has signed a contract with the Consular Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and provides sworn translation services for documents that have to be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2006 DIALOGUE was among the founders of the Bulgarian Association of Professional Translation and Interpretation Agencies.
